Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits, such as your session or your preferences. They can be “first-party” (set by the website you’re visiting) or “third-party” (set by a different domain, often for advertising or analytics).

2. Our position: no tracking, no consent banner

Fintl uses only strictly necessary and functional first-party cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not allow any third-party cookies on our application. Because we don’t use any cookies that require your consent, we don’t show a cookie consent banner — this is consistent with the exemption for strictly necessary cookies under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in [JURISDICTION] law).

The marketing website at fintl.ai — the site you may be reading this on — sets no cookies at all.

3. The cookies we use

When you sign in and use the Fintl application at app.fintl.ai, we set the following cookies:

CookiePurposeDurationType
fintl session cookiesAuthentication and session integrity — keeps you signed inSession / short-livedStrictly necessary
fintl_l10nStores your chosen locale, currency, and number-format preferences so pages render correctly on first load12 monthsFunctional — set in response to your explicit settings choice

4. Controlling cookies

Because these cookies are essential to how Fintl works, you don’t need to manage them separately — but you can still control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that deleting Fintl’s cookies will sign you out and reset any saved display preferences (like your currency and number format) the next time you visit.

5. If this changes

If we ever introduce cookies for analytics or marketing purposes, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this Cookie Policy accordingly.
